The advisory warned that the new law “introduced a heightened threat of PRC [People’s Republic of China] and Hong Kong authorities working with expanded authorized authorities to collect knowledge from organizations and people today in Hong Kong for steps that may well violate ‘national protection.’ ”

China also sanctioned Carolyn Bartholomew, chair of U.S.-China Economic and Stability Evaluate Fee former team director of Congressional-Executive Commission on China Jonathan Stivers DoYun Kim from National Democratic Institute for Intercontinental Affairs Adam Joseph King, senior system supervisor of the Intercontinental Republican Institute and Sophie Richardson, China director at Human Rights View.
